After dominating the Pacers on Wednesday night, LeBron James still had some fuel left in the tank.
LeBron topped off his game with a buzzer-beater in which he tipped in a missed shot, sealing the Lakers’ win against the Pacers. Fortunately for the Lakers, LeBron was able to summon the needed power in the game.
As per the latest reports, the Pacers kept a firm hold on James, not allowing him to score throughout the first three quarters. This was only the second time in his career that LeBron had zero field goals by the fourth quarter mark.
Mark Jones wasn’t quiet during the game. Jones focused on James’s weird shooting night and immediately threw in Ja Rule in what everyone thinks will be the best call of the season.
Jones stated: “As LeBron tipped the shot in to win the game, ‘Not always there when you call, but always on time’”
Clearly, Jones was paying tribute to Ja Rule’s timeless classic “Always On Time” with Ashanti. He might be using her lyrics if we consider the words as an excuse.
