
A lot speculation surrounding the New England Patriots this offseason comes from the considerable amount of cap space available.
With the wide receiver, the Patriots came to terms for a three year deal worth $69 million. Adam Schefter of ESPN reported the contract on Tuesday and claimed it includes a $26 million signing bonus.
In 2024, he played with the Houston Texans for a limited eight games due to a torn ACL injury.
Although, he is more notoriously known for his time with the Minnesota Vikings and the Buffalo Bills where he grabbed fans’ attention from 2015 to ’19, playing in ‘one of the most memorable catches of the century.’
Under the Bills, he outshined the brightest with constant remarkable performances, earning him four 1,000 yard seasons along with leading catches and receiving yards in the 2020 season, marking him as a four time All Pro.
Coming off the last season, New England was ranked 31st in total offensive yards, the lowest in franchise history.
