A duel between Steph Curry and LeBron James is an absolute treat for any basketball fan, and will probably remain so well in the year 2025.

The two Hall of Famers were once again engaging with one another on Thursday night as their respective sides are vying for position in the upcoming Western Conference playoffs. On Thursday at Crypto.com Arena, it was Curry and the Warriors beating Los Angeles literally soaring to a 123 to 116 victory.

The Golden State Warriors entered the night as 5th seed holders in the playoffs. They remain with a record of 45 wins and 31 losses. Had the Warriors been defeated on Thursday night, Golden State would have fallen all the way to 9th place in the West, behind the Los Angeles Clippers (44-32).

As for the Lakers? They drop to a record of 46 wins and 30 losses, so they have now fallen from the 3rd seed to 4th place, just behind the Denver Nuggets (47-30).

The Western Conference has the Lakers playing the New Orleans Pelicans, Oklahoma City Thunder (twice), Dallas Mavericks, Houston Rockets and the Portland Trail Blazers. The Warriors have the Denver Nuggets, Houston Rockets, Phoenix Suns, San Antonio Spurs, Portland Trail Blazers and Los Angeles Clippers on the roster as well as having six games to play.
