TGL Could Add New Team in 2026 With a $77 Million Price Tag

TGL Could Add New Team in 2026 With a $77 Million Price Tag.

As reported by Doug Ferguson of The Associated Press, an expansion TGL team may be in the works.

In an interview with the AP, Mike McCarley, the co-founder, alongside Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy of TMRW Sports, indicates that there has been “a ton of interest over the course of a season” in regards to an expansion team.

The overarching speculation is that a TGL Dallas squad would be added to the currently existing six franchises. Ferguson notes that although many investors are interested, “there is a consortium planning to contest for a Dallas franchise and will base their estimate at $77 million.”

Although not much more information is available at this time, it makes sense that Dallas would be a target market for an expansion team with Dallas PGA Tour stars like Jordan Spieth, Scottie Scheffler, and Will Zalatoris.

There are plans for the six teams in 2025, which are projected to remain mostly unchanged.
