On a one-year $21 million contract, the New York Giants signed free agent quarterback Russell Wilson on Tuesday.
Along with Wilson, Jameis Winston and Tommy DeVito round out the Giants’ quarterback room. Wilson is expected to get another shot at starting in the NFL with New York. But there are plenty for Wilson to cash in with joining the Giants. One of them being playing at a stadium he holds dearly, MetLife.
A few hours after news of his agreement with the Giants broke, Wilson took to X and shared an excited MetLife Stadium post.
It is no surprise that Wilson has fond memories of MetLife Stadium, as a Seattle Seahawks quarterback, he won super bowl 48 in the stadium back in February 2014.
Now a member of Big Blue, the quarterback will be able to create more memories in the stadium, something he must have been looking forward to.
