Purdue’s Second Round Game vs. McNeese

PROVIDENCE, R.I. The time for the matchup between Purdue (4) and McNeese (12) in the NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament has been scheduled and the game will also be available on television. The announcement was made after the first-round games were completed on Thursday.

The second-round game on Saturday, March 22 will see Purdue take on McNeese first. The two will tip off at 12:10 PM ET and it will be shown live on CBS.

The broadcast team for the game will include Andrew Catalon (play-by-play), Steve Lappas (analyst), and Evan Washburn (reporter).

Purdue had a close game with High Point in the first round of the NCAA Tournament, beating them 75-63. Trey Kaufman-Renn scored 21 points while Braden Smith added 20 and Camden Heide had the first double of his career with 11 points and 10 rebounds.

In the first round, McNeese was able to pull off the upset against Clemson (5), winning 69-67. Off the bench, Brandon Murray scored 21 points. Quadir Copeland added 16 points, 7 rebounds, and 5 assists, while Christian Shumate chipped in with 13 points and 11 rebounds.

The game on Saturday will be for a chance for the Boilers and Cowboys to advance to the Sweet 16.
