Losing 118-89 was clearly an outcome of their lack of top players.
Having said that, it was good for the positive outcome that younger players were able to gain invaluable experience.
In 30 minutes of playtime, he scored 17 points, 3 rebounds, 5 assists, a block, shot 7/10 from the field, 2/4 from the three-point line, which is Lakers history for something not seen since Hall of Famer Magic Johnson.
He still made history, becoming the youngest player of the Lakers to do so.
With other sources added to the conversation, such as StatMamba who said “Bronny James tonight 17 Points, 5 Assist, 70% FG The youngest Lakers rookie to reach these numbers in a game since Magic Johnson (1979)” it’s clear he knew what he was talking about.
It’s pretty clear that the younger crowd won’t ignore it him accomplishing as well.
